When To Arrive
- We encourage you to arrive about an hour before the park opens for the quickest entry into the park.
- If you’re not an early bird, it’s also a great strategy to arrive after lunch. Most guests tend to arrive between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
- To save even more time, you can pre-purchase parking online to expedite your entry through the toll booth plaza.
Fastest Way To Coasters
- The fastest way to the majority of our coasters is to make an immediate left as soon as you enter through the park's turnstiles and head up to the Timber Canyon area of the park. Six of our seven coasters can be found throughout Timber Canyon, Wildwood Grove and Wilderness Pass.
- The seventh coaster, Lightning Rod, can be found in the Jukebox Junction area located near the front of the park.

Kid-Friendly Areas
- Dollywood is fun for kids of all ages! If you are looking for areas of the park designed specifically with little ones in mind, check out Country Fair or Wildwood Grove. There are a total of 12 rides and attractions for little ones 36” tall and under.
- Don’t forget to stop by the Ride Measuring Center located immediately to the left as you enter the park through the turnstiles. They will give your child a color-coded wristband that lets them know which rides they are tall enough to experience!
